On this day, 22 years ago, 246 people were getting ready for their morning flights. Another 2,606 people were preparing to start their workday, while 343 firefighters were gearing up for their morning duties. 60 police officers were arriving for their morning patrol, and 8 paramedics were getting ready for their morning shifts. None of them could have imagined that they wouldn’t see past 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2001. In one single moment, all of our lives were changed forever. So as you go through your day and enjoy the breaths you take, remember to take a moment to appreciate the people you love. Before you go to sleep, kiss them a little tighter, snuggle a little closer, and never take your life or the lives of your loved ones for granted.
