Another 2,606 people were preparing to start their workday, while 343 firefighters were gearing up for their morning duties. 60 police officers were arriving for their morning patrol, and 8 paramedics were getting ready for their morning shifts. None of them could have imagined that they wouldn’t see past 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2001. In one single moment, all of our lives were changed forever.
