Dear Combat Veterans, Supporters and Families,
Memorial Day is just around the corner and this National Holiday usually means a three-day weekend for most with backyard barbecues and the unofficial start of summer. This American holiday hasn’t always gone by the name Memorial Day but has always been a time to Honor those who died while serving in the U.S. military during a time of war. On this Memorial Day, we honor and remember the bravery and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for our country in times of war. As the National Commander of the Combat Infantrymen’s Association, I fully understand the weight of your experiences and loss, and I express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering dedication and service.
As we remember those who gave their lives to defend our freedom, we also recognize the tremendous courage and resilience of those who returned home with physical and emotional scars. I understand the sacrifices you made and the challenges you faced in the line of duty, and I admire your strength and fortitude.
Today, we reaffirm our commitment to support and care for our veterans. We pledge to recognize and acknowledge your contributions to our country, and to provide resources and support for those who need it most.
Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your dedication to our Constitution and the American way of life. On this Memorial Day, we remember you and honor your fellow service members who made the ultimate sacrifice.
