The following is a list of the confirmed deaths of U.S. military service members killed in Operation Epic Fury, numbered approximately, to the best of our knowledge, and displayed newest to oldest. For deaths that take place on the same day, we alphabetize according to the first letter of the service member’s last name; that means the chronological number next to a service member’s name may change after the Pentagon announces more identities. Because of the timing of a service member’s promotion or the age of the official photo released by the military, the rank given in the service members’ entries don’t always match the rank in their uniform pictures.
1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii was killed in action on July 18, 2026, was killed in action on July 17, 2026, during an enemy attack on July 17, 2026, at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Jordan. The incident is under investigation.
